Attorney Laura A. Demerle, New England Subrogation

An attorney since 2000, Laura's practice initially focused on insurance defense matters, representing insurers and their insureds. When she began her legal career, Laura handled civil matters defending bodily injury cases, coverage disputes, and bad faith allegations. She has handled cases in Small Claims, District, and Superior Courts throughout Massachusetts.

Laura joined Parenteau & O'Hara, P.C. in 2015. She has handled subrogation cases involving issues of auto, products liability, construction defects, PIP/MEDPAY, trucking, fidelity & surety, uninsured/underinsured, breach of contract, and cases involving municipal, state, and federal entities.

Laura has extensive experience in civil matters from initial review of a case, drafting complaints, all types of discovery including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, requests for admissions and depositions, both defending and conducting them, trial preparation, and both bench and jury trials.
